Proud Mom Moment

Many of you may have heard of the plane crash in Arizona that seriously hurt a Provo native and her husband. Well, today my daughter Denae, coordinated a fundraiser event that earned quite a bit of money for the family. She's been interviewed by The Daily Herald, and at least one TV news crew was there to record the event. I am very proud of Denae and her efforts to help this friend from High School. Now she is talking about holding a benefits concert with Mindy Gledhill and Ryan Shupe and the Rubberband. This is GREAT!

Camping with the Grandkids

On Friday, July 25th, Jim and I took ALL the grandkids up camping "in the camper car" in Mapleton Canyon. We had a wonderful time in the "forest" and playing in the dirt and rocks. It's amazing how facinating this stuff can be.

I guess I will jump in with both feet here. Many people in the family have been blogging for a while, and I guess it's time for me to join in. I'm not much of a writer, but I can type, so I guess this is the best way for me to save special memories for my family. Sooooo, let's get started!
